Early stages<\/h2>\n

Pedro Ariz was a teenager who helped his parents working in the fields in the little village of Salinas de Pamplona, but it was the forge of the village blacksmith and the echoes of the hammer against the anvil, what eventually gained his attention and he begun learning the trade in his little spare time.
\nOne day, he took his bike and went to town to start toiling at a garage. Later, he learned to weld. He was very enterprising and, in 1940, set up his own welding workshop in the borough of La Milagrosa in Pamplona. Back then, he just had a forge, a welding machine, an emery and a crude drill.<\/p>\n

The evolution<\/h2>\n

Over the years, Pedro\u2019s sons joined the Business, as it was growing fast to cater the increasing market demand.
\nIn 1975 the plant had already become too small and the firm moved to a bigger, modern one in Noain. The new generation fostered the business expansion further and in 1986, built new facilities in Torres de Elorz, where it is currently based.
\nA family owned business, the third generation is already here with renewed energy and inspiration.<\/p>\n

Now<\/h2>\n

80 years later, we are a solid firm, that has overcame many challenges and are enthusiastic about the future. We feel proud to have taken part in so many projects.. in some of them you can still see the iron supporting ancient buildings and adorning old cottages doorways.<\/p>\n

Historia<\/h1>\r\n

Los inicios<\/h2>\r\nEl inicio de esta Historia es poco corriente.\r\nPedro Ariz era un joven que ayudaba en las labores del campo a sus padres en el peque\u00f1o pueblo de Salinas de Pamplona. Pero le llamaba mas la atenci\u00f3n el hierro candente que sacaba el herrero de su pueblo de la fragua y el sonido cantar\u00edn del martillo sobre el yunque. Por eso en sus ratos libres comenz\u00f3 a aprender el oficio.\r\n\r\nUn buen d\u00eda cogi\u00f3 su bicicleta y se fue a la capital. Se emple\u00f3 de mec\u00e1nico en un garaje y m\u00e1s tarde aprendi\u00f3 a soldar. Era muy emprendedor y en el a\u00f1o 1940 mont\u00f3 su propio taller en el barrio de La Milagrosa de Pamplona. Al principio solo ten\u00eda una fragua, una soldadura el\u00e9ctrica y una transmisi\u00f3n de poleas que mov\u00eda una esmeril y un r\u00fastico taladro.\r\n\r\nEn aquel peque\u00f1o taller se fueron fabricando bastantes balcones de forja que a\u00fan adornan muchos edificios de Pamplona y los pueblos de Navarra. All\u00ed se hicieron a mano todas las fallebas de las ventanas de la Txantrea.\r\n

Nuevas Generaciones<\/h2>\r\nEn el trascurso del tiempo, sus hijos se fueron incorporando al negocio, al mismo tiempo que iba creciendo por las necesidades que demandaba el mercado. Tambi\u00e9n el n\u00famero de empleados sigui\u00f3 aumentando.\r\n\r\nEn el a\u00f1o 1975 el taller se hab\u00eda quedado peque\u00f1o y nos trasladamos a una bajera m\u00e1s amplia, en la calle Real de Noain. El nuevo impulso dado por la nueva generaci\u00f3n hizo crecer a\u00fan m\u00e1s el nivel de trabajo y diez a\u00f1os mas tarde constru\u00edamos nuestras propias naves, que son las actuales situadas en Torres de Elorz, desde 1986.\r\n\r\nEl car\u00e1cter familiar sigue caracterizando esta industria y la tercera generaci\u00f3n con savia nueva, ya est\u00e1 integrada, significando que la vida contin\u00faa su ritmo de renovaci\u00f3n y crecimiento imparable.\r\n

Actualmente<\/h2>\r\nAhora, casi setenta a\u00f1os mas tarde, somos una industria consolidada, que superando todas las dificultades que se han presentado en el camino, contin\u00faa con entusiasmo permanente.
